History

Cignature is a seven-member girl group under J9 Entertainment. They debuted on February 4, 2020.

C9 entertainment originally debuted a 10 member group called Good Day, they only had a debut mini album with the lead single Rolly.

Good Day disbanded after their debut and 5 members left the agency.

From November 10 to November 16, 2019, the seven members of the group were revealed across social media, starting with Jee won, followed by Semi, Chaesol, Sunn, Belle, Ye Ah, and Seline respectively.

Chaesol, Jeewon (formerly known as Jiwon), Ye Ah (formerly known as Haeun), Sunn (formerly known as Viva) and Belle (formerly known as Lucky) were members of Good Day, which debuted on August 30, 2017.

On February 4, the group released their debut lead single A "Nun Nu Nan Na", while the song's full music video was released one day earlier, on February 3.

On April 27, J9 Entertainment announced that Ye Ah and Sunn had left the group and terminated their contracts with the agency due to undisclosed reasons.

On June 14, J9 Entertainment announced that two new members, Chloe and Dohee, had been added to the group.

Inconsistent releases

cignature do not get consistent releases. their last release was 11.30.2021 and before that 09.20.2020 and now their next one is january 16, 2022. a pattern of 14 months between every release which is completely.

Problems making income; Daejin University clarifies that the reason they cast Cignature to their festival is because the girl group did not cost them any fee to perform there.
