Why it does not make sense:
- It was never written with a space or written on two lines
- It is not a phrase where the "black" describes the subject "pink"
So do people say Black Pink because it looks better than Blackpink or BlackPink.
I feel it is an evolution of people who start off by saying "BlackPink" but become too uncomfortable by the contrast between the k and the P so they split it into Black Pink
