the South Korean parliament passed a law to scrap Korea's two traditional methods of counting age.
Starting June 2023.
Lots of bla bla bla, but the short story is only the standardised, internationally recognised method will remain.
So if your bias is 29 outside Korea, he'll still be 29 in Korea.
Example if the new method would apply now; If someone is born on December 31, 2002 - He or she is not 20 and they won't turn 21 this month, they'll stay 19 untill their actual 20th birthday on December 31. And on January 1st, they won't be 21 but stay 20 untill their next birthday.
