As mentioned on the main article, I also think Big Hit Corporation sounds more professional and distinct.
Like 2021 couldn't be more strange and sad now BigHit announced change of name to HYBE Corporation!

They're trying too hard to be like SM and YG and trying to expand like SM and YG who have had diversied business interests and dozens of subsidiaries for years.
BH has only proven that they have just one steady stream of income, and it has an expiration date due to military enlistment. Until they can prove they can organically make multiple successful groups like SM and YG, instead of buying them like they did SVT, they have yet to prove they are a good investment. Since they've been on a buying spree of these labels, which may prove detrimental, their liabilities and debt is enormous.
And also YG has proven you can keep your name across all businesses. With exception of...
YG's cosmetics line, which is called Moonshot,
their streaming service VIBE,
Yaoxing Culture, Chinese label
and Nonagon, the clothing line...
YG keeps its name across businesses. It's imperative to keep the branding streamlined.
YG
YGX (sublabel)
YG Japan
YG Academy (singer, producer, choreography school housed under YGX
YGStage (Actor management)
YGKPlus (model management)
YGStudioplex (tv production studio)
YGPlace (retail stores in Seoul)
YG Foods
YG Asia (HQ in Hong Kong)
YG USA
YG Foundation (Charitable arm)
YGPlus (album, digital and merch distribution)
YGPlus is also publically-traded and houses:
YGSelect (online retail store)
YG sports (athlete management)
YG Investments
YG Ads (advertising agency)
VIBE (streaming service owned with Naver

Lol bighit/ hybe is not trying to be your beloved YG or SM, it is usual business move to diversify their portfolio for their IPO which if im not mistaken is one of the top IPO in Skor. Also, they have so much idle fund and great credit standing so why not use that money to invest and buy other companies if they can afford to? Txt is doing well so I guess bh has nothing to prove esp when they have the biggest group in the world right now.
About the alleged 'enormous liabilities and debts' of bh, we haven't seen their latest financials yet but with enormous capital they received after their IPO I doubt that's the case.
