I think that in this little game it is above all FIFA and Qatar who will lose, Qatar won this World Cup thanks to certain European countries, so they have all the evidence to also bring them down if they really want.

really? since sure there's a lot of people who dislike them for the human rights issues but will still tune in to see the games and whatnot
I mean has/will qatar/fifa faced any consequences - not to my knowledge - FIFA still brings in the big dollars in terms of sponsorships and deals so unless brands are pulling back by the millions

FIFA and Qatar just play this little game on their side too, you always need good and bad guys in a story. For people in the Qatar European are the bad guy and for European the qatar and fifa are the bad guy, face is save for everyone, everyone is happy. show must go on.

The Iranian team wore them (protest armbands) and also didn’t sing their own National anthem. Now this is what I call having balls!
