the Itzy roll out has been SO SO boring. getting less interested day by day tbh. one teaser photo EVERYDAY until they release the track list and a week later will be the MV. the teasing period is way too long. when will JYPE learn?

Do you think they only good at keeping hype with Stray Kids??
Or you think they killing their hype too???
-
seems like they specialize in making sure their artists can’t actually succeed beyond a certain point

This time around Bang Chan and 3racha killed their hype when they decided to steer away from their usual hard hitting title tracks and released Case 143. I know JYPE focuses on album sales as emphasized by JYP himself so they tend to churn out a lot of albums. But I do think 3racha could use a break before they burn out. I enjoyed Maxident as an album, but tbh it doesn’t come close to the peak of SKZ’s work :)

Yeah they sure like to either restrain the growth and longevity of their groups or their individuality. It’s like they can’t multitask, could be because they have less employees and they don’t pay them well while being overworked.

Btw I love their attempt to try something different this time as Case 143 is a more brighter sound. The MV is a lot of fun too but it’s obvious stays and casuals didn’t resonate with it as much as their other title tracks. I’m curious if they’ll stick with this brighter sound or go back to their usual hard hitting songs. I’m like the majority where I prefer their previous title tracks compared to this bright sound so I’m hoping this is just a one time thing.

Do you see Stray Kids reaching a very big level, even with JYP holding them back or whatever?? Or you think they gonna grow, but kind of stagnant?
I'm just asking cuz as of right now Stray Kids just have album sales, which a lot of kpop stans say they not impressed with because its just bulk buying and their charting nor streaming match etc etc.

jype isn't good at anything except for killing hype honestly
jype hate club

I know you asked OP but interesting question so gonna chime in.
I think the ticket demand shows real promise. Do they have a European tour lined up yet? They should be playing multiple continents.
I think the hype is real but some sort of bigger promo needs to start to happen for them for it to show up beyond just album charting. They now have achieved two #1 albums and only one other Korean act has done that. But JYP so far hasn’t seemed to take cues from how that act expanded their reach over time, nor am I sure the fans want to push for it as much. So I’m curious myself how much bigger they’ll grow while doing minimum global promo.

Jype is killing the hype not with bad teasers but bad song choices lately to be honest.
