    Should SM listen to fans and make more contents for aespa? Red Velvet had little contents too during their rookie years but SM never listened and still hasn’t changed its old ways. Aespa is going to have their first reality show though it will only be available to korean MYs through subscription.


    They do give their flagship boy group NCT lots of contents and reality shows broadcasted on national TV and Hulu (available for international fans) while their girl groups dust.


    Why such different treatment between their girl and boy groups?

    SM is following YG’s recipe for BP success closely. It’s clear as a day. If Aespa stans want them to be as famous as BP, you guys need to support the agenda.

    Nah, don’t think SM is following YG lol they actually did a very similar tactic with f(x). One comeback a year for every year of their career outside of debut and the one year they had a full album repackage.


    People especially blonks are so desperate to link both groups together and say they’re following YG cuz they both have 4 members.

    SM is avoiding another comeback this year because it may be outperformed by old songs from idle, ive, new jean, lsrf etc. imagine how would that sound. another flop after girls and they might lose the 4th gen leader status

    I personally don’t think there’s any 4th gen leader yet until several more years. We’ll find out the leader after YG’s girl group debut and even if their gg have a smashing debut, we have to wait for several comebacks before deciding the 4th gen leader. And you never know aespa can bounce back and luck plays a part.
