Stray Kids already being mentioned for a potential Grammy nomination

Those are clickbait articles to get clout from Kpop stans. SKZ has not done enough to get on the radar of the American public, much less the very elitist grammy voting committee.

No K act besides BTS has actually run a targeted and effective Grammy campaign. BTS put so much work in in 2019-2020 to get on the committee radar and it eventually did pay off — even though it felt so overdue! No other group’s label is willing to put the work in. (I won’t blame the artists because I’m sure some of them would be willing to do the legwork.)

They fly these groups in for their 3 US arena shows then put them back in the dungeon in Korea. That’s not what works for the US industry and it’s certainly not what will work for the Grammys.

BTS is in a class of truly elite superstars now and continue to make history. The next Korean artist to get a nom will need to do something special to get on Grammy radar and I don’t think it’s going to come from the K-Pop sector.

skz had good timing but their numbers have barely changed, their streaming numbers actually decreased this time if im not mistaken.

super m had two releases, the first had bundles but the second one did decently at #2 with 104,000 units, not that different from skz numbers, whose album is at 165 on its 5th week on the BB 200 chart.
