Why does Nmixx interact with idols outside of JYP but NewJeans don’t?

Nmixx interact with many idols like Billie, Lapillus, Gfriend,… meanwhile NewJeans only interact with Hybe idols like Bts and Le sserafim. Why aren’t they interacting with idols outside of Hybe even when many idols have said they want to befriend NewJeans?

Because NJ are top tier and don't mix with Z-list celebs like idols from other companies besides their own. Is that what you wanted to hear?

hybe idols generally avoid talking about idols from other companies even when they're known to be friends behind the scenes, the only exception is usually if the group/idol is a huge senior or has a very different target audience from said hybe group

this strengthens the family image in company stans minds and prevents them from checking out other groups just because their faves are friends

the idols themselves are probably told to do it, but it makes them look very unlikable tbh

most kpop groups are like that. only jyp groups seem to have no restriction. even non-big3 like ive are banned from talking about izone or intereact onscreen with izone members. sm and yg idols rarely compliment groups from other companies as well.
