It seems the group won't be managed as a whole but as subunits, a la NCT.
So, rather than one giant group, you have several different groups each with their own albums, performances, revenue. The only thing is they all fall under the same TripleS umbrella.
That's just an educated guess though. We'll see how it goes for them.

Yeah that's right. I read somewhere that the concept is all based around one-time subunits? And they said that the subunit needs to sell 100k copies to be made permanent (which will unlikely to happen). Though it could be a marketing scheme since Jaden Jeong did reveal that Loona never had a 10 billion won debut budget and he apparently bluffed for marketing hype. It was actually 2 billion if I'm not mistaken. I doubt this kind of concept will work though especially with a girl group and coming from a small company but hey they could surprise us.
