BTS to be forgotten soon

  • i don’t have hope for bp (they lack the ambition and inconsistent stage presence imo + they are a gg) but SKZ has so much potential. they are already creating new records and with time, they can eventually beat bts’s records. their growth is honestly insane like streaming spotify, youtube views, billboard. armies better watch out for them cuz they’re going to be the next big thing. bookmark this thread or wtv.

    Blackpink your fave? =O

    I'm not gonna believe it.

  • Many armys have moved to new groups mostly skz and ateez but their fandom is still strong imagine how big their fandom actually was. I think they did a good job by taking a break on the right time, now when they make a comeback even the fans who've left will anticipate and support it because it'll be a trend and nostalgic, similar to Jbros. They had the biggest hit of their career with the comeback and song wasn't even good. They might get a Grammy as well.

Didnt stray kids flop this comeback?Only 18m views in a week for the title song on youtube, even spotify streams arent that great.Bts's and bp's least streamed bsides gets more streams than what skz got for their title track. Flopped big time on kcharts. Sales are inflated, even 4th gen ggs are getting 1m sales so nothing to write home about.

  • The last thing I want to say is that, people want BTS to be forgotten, but It will never happen, even If they disband. They already set too many records for korean acts overall, that are very hard to surpass or even replicate. So everytime an act comes close to one of these metrics, they will be remembered as the first ones that crossed this mark.

  • That's just blatantly untrue, look:

What an achievement for a group you all tout as BTS' successors :cryingr:

Latest comeback song could not even get into Bubbling Under with one of the weakest Hot 100 charts in history. Your faves ain't even even pulling 2017 BTS atp, much less surpassing 2022 BTS and its been how many years since debut?

  • They might not be. BP still has a very healthy following, so I don't think BTS popularity will decline. Although BP does do fashions so they are in the public alot. BTS won't be able to show themselves much while in military, but I don't think fans will care, it's only 2 years enlistments and max 4 years for group reunion. So essentially when they get out, the fans will be 16 years of age. Not a big deal.

However, the public is very fickle so we can only see until then.

  • Whaa the set ups I'm seeing here. It's good to see people talking about Stray kids and keeping an eye on their every move. Even stays aren't active on this thread but Skz is still one of the main topics.

BTS will be releasing 100 times more content during this "hiatus" era than BP have in their whole career, so why will fans lose interest?

they'll still be releasing solo stuff which is still eyes and mentioning of "bts" in a sense.... so it'l probably only a few months (when all members are in the military) where they won't have any appearances etc in any sense which won't be too bad imo.

maxident had less streams in the US than oddinary. no "bubbling under", same sales with more versions. what does that say.

  • set up after set up. but im bored. skz has potential but they have a lot more visual stans than bts ever had. they have an extremely gorgeous band member who can't sing, barely rap and is an average dancer. and still he's the most popular member by a huge margin. i saw more noise about his haircut than the actual album on their cb day. like there were stays that were genuinely upset over an haircut, that's insane.
