What determines the streaming behavior of one fandom vs another?

these groups b sides streams are low compared to their title tracks because they don’t promote them at all. simple as that.

Imagine young people going out, having fun, playing sports, dancing, meeting new people. And here we have kpop fans writing paragraph after paragraph on streaming in kpop. Well, at least you lot won't reproduce.

Solo debut? Nayeon had her own Spotify profile. Her solo did well but that was it. It didn't extend to Twice, their MLs continued to drop.

What Japanese rreleases? You mean that compilation album or the Celebrate album that came out like a month before B1&2? Celebrate album has like 50M streams. You can't tell me that nonfans are listening to it. Even fans don't care for their japanese releases much.

Idk how touring ever helped a group(at least in this case TWICE's US tour). The Feels ranking on BB200 didn't increase at all and even that Benny Benassi remix that was released for the tour flopped.

I also think no other kpop group has more followers than MLs.

The explanation on twice's dependecy on casual listeners is very on point as seen from the disparity between title tracks and bsides. You dont need to be defensive over this, there is nothing wrong here

It will but it won't make a large amount people listen to Twice. If it did, we would have seen a significant increase in MLs during her solo but there wasn't.

Colbert show.. that show did NOTHING for Twice just like their first performance.

The bsides you're talking about are old. Twice have almost 200 songs and 20 singles. I am pretty sure all bsides from FOL are 10M+ or close to it.

You keep saying that Twice depends on casual listeners but there is nothing that supports the claim other than title vs bside argument.

When they are on hiatus it just proves that Their YT views, Spotify streams, MLs all continuously decline. If they were gaining new fans there would be something that would actually show that.
