Interesting analysis on Born Pink streaming performance

Currently born pink is on path to gain less streams in 2022 than TA era accumulated in 2020 (it won't tho cause the tour will prop it up lol)

Which is interesting cause we all thought it was mostly the boycotts + tracklist that resulted in how the album performed (it's still a factor)

But it was also heavily influenced by certain things :

The songs genres is the biggest one, 5/8 songs on the album are not hip-hop or even hard hitting,that resulted in our casual listeners not having most of the album on their rotation like they did with TA which was mostly on the black side unlike born pink which is more on the pink side

RFL....Nuff said...the new hope not lol

There's a reason only 1 bside is currently charting on streaming platforms...it's not surprising that typa girl is holding up cause that's what a sizable amount of the fandom prefer too

We can see the fandom is still going strong with how well PV performed & is performing

Sadly SD performance has been affected by some baffling choices made by the company

The next release maybe the repackage will likely have all the new songs be more on the black side so it's performance will be interesting to witness 👀

I think after the tour things will get better, but the way the album was dropped and boom, they disappeared didn't help too.

Also the bsides are more pink & soft, statistically their black stuff always perform better
