    What seemed harder/more impressive to achieve: Stray Kidz 2.24M preorder, outselling all Kpop except BTS or NewJeans snatching 3 top 10 hits from debut with surprise debut?

    Why are people in this thread talking like big 4 privilege equals automatic success at debut every time? Aespa and Nmixx and even Twice are right there to prove it’s not an easy task to always smash at debut as long as you’re from big 4. And let’s not even talk about big 4 bgs. History has proven all big 4 groups managed to capitalize on that privilege, but NJ not only did that but exploded like never seen before. That’s not an easy feat at all. You’d have to be willfully obtuse to downplay their success to solely big 4 privilege and nothing else

    Like said previously, It's consequence of a stabilized success over the years. No one knows If NewJeans will mantain their hype when they are over 4 years old.

    good for hybe for having a good debut strategy and make it work, but this line should make it clear that hybe make them explode not them. 8o8o
