Unfortunately very few variety people have longevity even outside of idols. Everyone has their peak and after that you barely hear from them.

Now that you've mentioned it, where are the 2nd gen vitamin idols? I think those tend to wear off quickly in a few years, and unless you have something else to offer, you will be quickly replaced by fresher and newer idols.

Look at Ahn So-hee. She was one of the original "fruity/fresh/bubbly" idols, but she got into acting, which gave her career a much wider and better option than just limiting herself to an idol image.

But not all idols are able to get into acting, so they will have to establish…
