blackpink shutdown jimmy kimmel stage was weird

    i had to increase my brightness because the stage was so dark+ I couldn't even see the girls but at 100% brightness, it wasnt that bad although i still have complaints about the lighting. the backup dancers are so pointless, idk why they're there. the outfits were really questionable, the worst being jisoo's that looked like it was a bit too big for her. but like their outfits didnt even match each other. the girls did good given everything but it was just a weird stage to watch.

    The camera work wasn't great, the cameras kept catching the girls when it wasn't quite their part and they were looking down or moving into position, even Lisa once or twice which is rare. Like you say, maybe the dark stage was a factor. Rosie was flawless. Jennie had good energy, especially considering what's going on in the background. Jisoo looked kind of lost. As she's an actress I wish she'd drop the slightly stressed look onstage. She was so confident for HYLT then lost it again. I think more momentum would help all four, instead it's a standing start every time because even the pre-releases are barely promoted.

    I'm surprise they went to US only for Kimmel shows when svt n nct even went to Corden/Fallon/GMA.


    Not a huge fan of Kimmel's performance, the stage & the lighting is too dark and with their styling they look like they blend with the dancers.

    And what do you expect? Even with this level they're out of sync. BP choreo was always very simple, but they haven't been performing for two years and it shows.
