How are IVE already bigger than bp in Japan?

  • IVE are huge in Japan they are top #10 apple music in Japan higher than BP

How it take IVE only few months to pass 6 year old bp in Japan?

  • IVE have IZ*ONE members and a Japanese member. They would always do better there especially because YG put no effort into Japan outside of their boy groups

  • They have better music than bundlepink.

  • the reach lol

when IVE gets to have concerts at a Tokyo Dome then we'll talk

  • AM became popular in the latest years, not really comparable plus Starship is investing with promo there and a japanese member, BP only has pulled out japanese versions and never promote that extensively yet it paid off, they still can sold out the tokyo dome and get riaj certifications.

  • japan don't like bp. I think we already knew that. They still have flops twice as no.1 just because of japanese line.

But why aren't other ex izone acts besides lesserafim(sakura is ex hkt/akb member so don't count) doing well in Japan?

Eunbi and Yuri are flopping in Japan even Kep1er doing better. Japan love solo artists so no excuse.

IVE are big in Japan no need to downplay

They just debut dude..... in few years I'm sure they will

  • Are you guys really ignoring the obvious? Their MUSIC is a key factor. Their visuals too.

And Rei is a key member there. In every video of her at least 60% of the comments are in japanese, jdives are very proud of her.

This is better than the original

  • Having a Japanese member is key for girl groups to do well in Japan. For male groups you just need good looking members for the fangirls, they don't care about nationality as much. BP has no Japanese member or original Japanese song, so their popularity there is surprising considering that.

What? Eunbi and Yuri are mid to low tier when it comes to Japanese popularity within Izone, what are you on?

Both Ive and LSF did well for kpop rookies in Japan with zero Japanese songs, and that's mostly because they got 4 of the 5 most popular members of Izone

This is the anwer. BP do amazing in korea considering how their company doesn't even try to appeal to them. On their 7th year still no original japanese song

  • theyre probably not into hype only groups where they release the same songs over and over again after a bunch of hiatuses

This is an interesting take. Japanese market is far more competitive than kpop, so if you fail to keep their attention you won't make waves there. They already have a whole industry to pay attention to before kpop.
