I'll say I'm Unsure about this, cuz literally no one has EVER mentioned this, so let me know yalls opinions down below.
I never understand why idols, especially when they go to the States, they'll see a random kid or baby - and try to reach out and touch their face or pick them up or even hold their hands.
Now I know this seems harmless, and maybe in Korea they can get away with it too some extent (especially from the compilations I've seen of Idols kissing someone else child on the face or having the toddler kiss them on the lips. And everyone standing around, including the parent just smiles and ohhh so cute blah blah blah). But in a Western country this for sure would not fly.
One example is I was watching NCT 127 vlog episode from when they were in the States, I think 2019. And jungwoo just walked up and tried to start shaking the baby hand out the blue, and the mother tried to smile about it, but immediatley picked her son up to walk away. Another one was when they was getting icecream at this truck and yuta just started talking to this little girl, probably between 7-8 yearls old, and he kept touching her knee while he was talking..not on no weird stuff, just every time he made a point he would hit her knee. and in my head im like pleaseeeee baby dont do that. you cant just be touching kids here in the states lmaoooo.
Point is, alot of people dont play about their kids, and what the idol think is cute and sweet, can be seen as creepy and you know what in another country. So they should just be cautious pretty much and self aware.
