according to the replies here he is hated because:
- too much exposure ( I guess I understand this but still hating someone for just that is plain stupid)
- advertising himself as an idol (which he is)
- dancing to songs on tik tok (like this is a new thing amongst idols)
- annoying ,cringe ,brags about stuff (source: nothing, and again this is far not a good enough reason to hate)
- not talented enough (neither 99% of other idols based on kpop stan’s logic which is ‘nobody is talented outside my favs’)
- not popular enough (just like 99% of idols)

As for "but the fans started it!!" well unfortunately fandoms can be stupid when they attack other idols but
