How is the song bad? Whats your basis? Explain to me what makes it bad.

But there are many bad songs in kpop, this one still safe area. Both songs are boring to me though.

Let me tell you why. Blinks kept calling YTC Yet to Flop, even though it was a, leaked for a month before release, Korean ballad that won't resonate with people unless they are hardcore fans. And it 3 days after release, the hiatus was announced that affected it greatly.
PV was the hugely anticipated BP comeback after 2 years with almost zero ot4 content. And despite weak weeks on the charts, it's just doing just decent, even worse than YTC on some metrics, not much better on others.

Globally PV is the most successful gg song ever, isn't it? I really don't understand this narrative people keep trying to push that pv is a flop. It's doing really great in Korea too.

Sry you telling me it's because of fandom wars? It's fascinating that blackpink themselves can unite so many fandom to attack them. Even more than the biggest bully on internet favorite group.
2 years hiatus doesn't mean they'll do well, even Adele losing her power in some platforms,it's a dumb tactic, won't work in this day and age.

You don't make much sense in the second paragraph and I don't know what you are trying to say.
Is this the only metric? HYLT was a true hit, PV is not and it doesn't seem it will be one.
What double standard? Blinks have been calling everyone a flop, even BTS. They are even making shades for rookies.
I explained what happened with YTC and the fact that it didn't do well surprised no one because of everything that happened.
BP comes back once in a blue moon. They always release the same bad bish energy song to make people hyped. And yet, despite the fact that fans had been starved for a comeback, it did more or less the same as HYLT. Blinks always say that they got bigger and they have more and more subs on yt but that didn't show in the numbers.

PV is outdoing anything that HYLT did in just a few weeks.

I think PV did well but definitely not as good as blinks and maybe YG were expecting given the hiatus and the expectations. Yeah, maybe could be a little more humble next time rather than get ahead of themselves.
