Why does Twice still have the biggest 3rd gen song?

  • People keep saying Twice is old has been and a fad no one cares about because they are digital failures according to yall. Then why does Twice still have the biggest national hit to come out of 3rd gen which is Cheer Up? No other song had its defining impact on the industry

  • Do you like living t in the past or something. People say Twice are shit digitally now because they ARE shit digitally. 3 years of mediocre or flop charting. No one denies how they were, but they certainly are no longer at the same level so using Cheer up to say "ha see they're still Digimon" makes no sense.

  • yall fight so much with each other about charts and numbers like seriously are you here for the music or do you have business investments in this shit. do you hold stocks on these groups or something?

  • Cheer up isn’t the biggest third gen song. It’s not even the biggest girl group third gen song.

People got so sick of it it barely ever even charts in the top 1000 of charts anymore.

  • You based this in public opinion when the numbers are there and it isn't even the biggest song of that year.

  • That song is 6 years old, you are just admitting people are right in calling them has beens lol. And it is not even the biggest 3rd gen song

  • op just admitted Twice are has beens

bragging about a song in 2016? rofl

  • It was the viral song of 2016 but there are bigger songs like Spring Day

  • Dynamite, spring day, boy with love, live scenario are bigger than cheer up

  • Its not the biggest 3rd gen song. Its not even Twice's biggest song. TT was bigger since it was bigger in Japan

Internationally so many songs are bigger

And the song aged pretty badly so now it doesnt ever enter the charts again. Big for the 2 years after it was released, then not played afterwards

  • So you are just contradicting yourself, nice. Even if cheer up was the biggest 3rd gen song that was like 8 years ago, why you dont mention any recent song?? Because they dont have any hit from the last years.

  • dude cheer up is bigger than all this song but not dynamite. In korea cheer up is bigger than all of this every one singing cheer up put it in a government song a lot of things

If cheer up was as impactful as you say, people wouldn't have forgotten about it and stopped caring entirely.

  • Another one where we try to argue about what Koreans like?

Like probably everyone else here I'm not Korean, but when I think of big 3rd gen songs I think of Dynamite (sad state of affairs but it is what it is), DDDD (ditto), and Love Scenario.

  • And now they have the biggest flop of 3rd gen too with Scxientist and TTT

  • And now they have the biggest flop of 3rd gen too with Scxientist and TTT

Scientist has a case for biggest flop in Kpop ever. This is Twice, the once NGG, never had a big scandal, with a fair bit of hype and kpop has been rapidly expanding.

But they struggled to stay in the top 100. That's terrible for even nugus but it was Twice.
