Will LOVE DIVE and ATTENTION be EVER used in PRESIDENTIAL campaigns like NEXT LEVEL?

  • If they are national hits, I expect nothing less

    Approved the thread.
  • Lmao, that's a hard one to sell just because the topic doesn't really lend for it.

    But, yeah who knows.

I don't know if I'd consider Attention a national hit quite yet though. Hype Boy is moving more like the national hit tbh since everyone is dancing the choreography.

  • You're acting like the presidential candidates themselves chose "Next Level" for their campaign lol, those clips were put together by MBC and SBS, who have used countless kpop songs for media in the past.

  • No cause a lot of kpop stans don't understand that it's now about who went to #1 first or uls but the IMPACT

There isn't one 4th gen song that can rival Next Level's impact knetz even agreed

Can you imagine election ads with the candidates under the teenage tunes of 'You got me looking for attentioooooon'?

  • op lacks common sense. this is so embarrassing for your fandom

  • isn't this a good thing? in my country artists don't wants their songs to be used in political campaigns and anything politics related. even if they explicitly support a specific party most of them are against their music being used, they don't want their music to be associated with politics

using this as a brag os hilarious to me

Did you even watch the clip? It was never used as a support to any of the parties, it's used in the news representing BOTH

yes, i watched it which is why i said politics related. and yes, that included election night coverage

None of the negative connotations you imply apply to election night coverages but on the contrary, the song use shows impact and catchiness to the point even its choreography is implemented in this important media coverage. The song is far from overtaken by and associated with politics as you'd like it to be, it is NOT a campaign

it seems a tv show using your fave's song makes you proud, fine. i don't like it one bit and i hope none of my faves, all korean, english or my native language speaking artists won't have their music featured in anything politics wise including election nights.

  • Dives and NJ fans probably don’t care about this lol only MYs care about this “record”.

  • Saying this as a dive, no. Next Level had huge impact and even if in metric isn't bigger than other hits, it definitely made a wave in Korea and helped gp regain their interest in kpop, at least for girl groups.

  • I recently used Attention for my election to Class President.

    Therefore Attention = national hit.
