Ive outchart Twice domestically and internationally, physicals not far behind either

    What needs to happen for people to see them as the 2nd most popular girl group?


    They've just destroyed Twice's Spotify numbers with over 2m streams in a day for After Like, a 1/3rd more than Twice's peak which is 1.5. Internationally is where you'd think Twice should hold the upper hand but that's a massive gap they've just made on Twice. I'm not sure if they just have really good playlisting but shocked at that.


    Even in the US where JYPE has been pushing Twice massively and Twice are billed as big by their fans after stadium dates, Ive are at 82nd on the US Spotify chart with 317k streams. Twice's peak is still Feel Special from 2019 at 142nd with 253k streams. Their English single in the The Feels had its debut even lower despite being after more US promotions. Physicals they are already ahead in some aspects.


    They currently have all of the numbers outside of touring which they haven't done yet.

    I don't see how Twice can match up to that. They haven't beaten their 2019 numbers in the US or their 2020 numbers globally despite the increased push, an English single and more US tour dates. They have a core fandom but the general interest in their music from kpop fans has been stagnant for a few years now.


    Scientist, Pop and the Feels showed they need tiktok to have any chance of even keeping up with some other groups.

    Highest US peak and streams is Feel Special, highest global spotify streams is ICSM. Ive have bettered both being less than one years old with near zero western promo and not releasing at a time for US markets.

    Twice's average performance is nothing special anymore and their only songs with longevity in recent years have been reliant on tiktok virality and simple point choreo.

    who even considers twice competition? their last korean hit and 1 on the charts was in 2018

    It's actually a bit embarrassing IVE did better than twice's fully promoted english song in the US. We all know it only made the hot100 because of cheap remixes

    I can't wait for this thread to age horribly on Monday

    Twice has a larger core fandom, but that's because they're an older group who had the time the build it up. In another couple years, Ive will be ahead by every aspect

    I hope IVE don't get shat on when it's clearly other bitter fandoms using them to drag in anons
