This is funny. But kinda sweet. Now if all these idols actually like him that's cool, but it could also be to get a more favorable position.
Usually in big companies like this the owner=LSM usually isn't the one making day to day controlling decisions that's usually left up to the CEO and the remainder of their administration team. The owners of big companies are usually somewhat removed from the business so they can focus on private life, rebranding and expanding the business so often they are not fully aware of every condition the employees or the idols are in. LSM could actually not be a "bad evil" man he might actually care about these idols and they in turn might really like him like an old grandpa or something and may not directly blame him for any misgivings they have with the company. As owner if made aware of things he can change stuff but not always unilaterally, as big companies have shareholders board of directors etc so some decisions his hands maybe tied others not so much.
He still has a significant amount of sway
examples I can think of is when producers wanted to change some of Jonghyun's OP story album songs but LSM signed it off as it is so no one else can touch it aside from Jonghyun.
Another case is when everyone voted rise to be Taemin's title track but Taemin wanted Move. LSM basically stepped in and told them to back off and its Taemin's decision.
