I’ve seen this attitude with many international fans. The moment they realize their faves’ music isn’t charting high enough in certain countries, they start throwing microaggressions about the country and its people. This includes hating on Korea. Imagine supporting a K-pop group while being xenophobic and racist towards their country and people.
Countries aren’t disposable commodities for us to use as bragging rights.
