People in anons saying BP should have had higher pre-orders are ridiculous

YG announced pre-orders for The Album at the 6 day mark - it was 800K, after Chinese bars had already told YG an estimate of how much they were buying. The Album was 15-25 USD everywhere from YG Shop to Amazon, and BP had full support of all 4 Chinese bars.

YG announced Born Pink orders also at the 6 day mark - 1.5M. If you think a girl group that has been on hiatus for 2 years, with no digipacks, albums priced at over 50 dollars in the US and UK, and zero Chinese bars putting in group orders getting 1.5M preorders is anything short of impressive, you are literally ridiculous.

Also, like pick a fucking narrative anons, one minute blinks have all moved on to younger groups and deserted BP, the next minute people "expected more" when BP doubles their pre-orders from 2020 with no Chinese bar support and albums priced more than 2x more in the west. This isn't blink mental gymnastics either or success stan behavior, just things that blinks have to say because we can't celebrate for 2 seconds without former mods making threads about expecting more or antis rushing to anons to say that Aespa ended BP because their 1 month sales are the same as BP 6 days of preorder (and then turning around and saying blinks are the toxic ones with one sided-beef, like okay).

TLDR: BP will sell 2-2.5M without digipacks and without their Chinese bars (and over 3M if YG ever releases digipacks). Please name me another girl group that could compete with those numbers before you start talking about being disappointed by the 6 day sales of a group you hate and an album you are not going to buy

I see a lot of blinks making an excuse of pricing when only 26% of The Album was sold in US & Europe and the rest of 74% are Asia & globally. Which means that only a small portion are buying the expensive version in Born Pink and the rest of majority still bought or are buying the kpop standard pricing which is like 15 - 18 USD. So, what's with the pricing excuses? It's not like it's gonna impact a lot of their sales when it's only the small portion.

And only Lisa bars are boycotting.

Yes. It's a standard price for a kpop album. Only the US & Europe countries have the expensive version which doesn't impact their sales anyway as only a small portion buys from that country and the rest are from Asia which impacts their sales.

many iblinks aren't buying from ktwown4u because the shipping it's too expensive it's not worth it. We are buying from other shops like amazon, walmart, barnes & noble where the album costs around $40 or more

Sure you can buy from Weverse and pay more than 50€ on shipping + potential extra costs from customs.
