I'm surprised how far this story has spread. I've seen it in a few outlets
It's disappointing how Buzzfeed News will sometimes have really, really excellent investigative articles, and then sometimes will have articles like this that don't try to find out anything new and just regurgitate what some social media posts say. I liked it better when they kept the garbage like that on regular Buzzfeed and left the News side of it for actual news.
they should have contacted her and did an actual interview
