Why is Jeongyeon so underrated?

I love Jeongyeon but for some reason her popularity stays the same or even decreases while the other members' popularity has been skyrocketing lately. I'm not even talking about during or after her hiatus, I'm talking about it throughout the years. I noticed this especially after I see the lack of YouTube videos and variety of photos/gifs that pull up when you search her name. And in almost every video you see where it measures the popularity of each Twice member based on numbers, Jeongyeon is almost always at the bottom or 2nd to last in the list. (this is based on how much each member is searched on Google in different countries)

Jihyo and Chaeyoung especially have really grown in individual fans. Mina has as well with almost everyone talking about her in the comment sections of the TTT videos. You can see their numbers have gone up by their c-bars and their Instagram follower account. Everyone expected Chaeyoung to have less as well but she's the 5th most followed member. I know this isn't a completely accurate representation of each member's popularity (especially because Jeongyeon was on hiatus off and on since October 2020) but it's the best I can do for those who don't follow Twice and pay attention to the fans

As you can see, I am someone who follows Twice, I just don't have the guts to post this on the main forum. But this isn't in any way hate, I'm just kind of concerned.

okay i'm gonna type an essay about this but tldr; jeongyeon doesn't have a strong sense of image to appeal to fans.

jeongyeon kinda got lost in the shuffle. when they first debuted, jype gave her the "tomboy" persona. she was a handsome type, had short hair, fans called her "oppa" until it got to the point that she had to ask them to stop because she didn't like it. she never liked this image and i don't think she ever felt comfortable. so when she dropped it, it's like she lost her image, her thing that differentiated her from the others.

• chaeyoung is artsy and creative, a hippie type
• sana is playful and cutesy, literally given the name "cutie sexy"

• momo is the dancer, sexy but also kind of goofy and loves food

• nayeon is the face of the group, fresh and vibrant, always smiling

• dahyun is the variety star, she's not afraid to be weird, has a good sense of humor

• mina is like a rich daughter, ballet dancer, regal and elegant

• tzuyu is the visual, the standard with a million "lookalikes" (a lot of people call her boring but she has her moments of being funny or "savage")

they all have their own personas, things that differentiate them from other members. jeongyeon lost the thing that made her stick out and it's like she hasn't quite found herself outside of it yet. plus her hiatus and health issues hasn't helped, along with her poor styling because it seems like their stylists just don't know what to do with her. idk. i think she needs to find herself and establish who she is to fans, because right now she doesn't really have that

nothing wrong with being average. average citizen, average men or women, average people. just like us. a human. what's wrong with that.
