Why don't the big labels debut kpop groups?

  • lmao Why would they when they operate in the biggest music market in the world? American music market represents 60-65% of the revenue the music industry GLOBALLY. Besides, as the poster said, they have partnerships with Korean companies to dabble in that market. But as I said, Korea as much as kpop fans think is big money, it's absolutely not.


    A great example of the importance of Asia to the west is touring, go look up the A list artists of the west and see how many times they've toured Asia. You'll see it's a rare occurrence.
