It seems like they've finally learned their lesson this time. Tbh, I also feel like they already have something planned out and it is connected with what their shitty government's offer. But maybe they are still on the process of finalizing the possible 'alternatives' and studying the people's reaction, so they know when to announce it. BTS is a huge part of hallyu wave and everyone knows this. They are the best ambassador when it comes to promoting their country, kpop and tourism.

Hopefully, the guys' heart are all into this. I don't want them to feel obligated or feel any pressure into making decisions. At the end of the day, they know what's best for them. But the selfish part of me wants a world tour 🤡

He is just saying what we alr know. I guess they don’t want to openly confirm anything. As for “concerned parties” Jin he doesn’t have to enlist till Dec-next year.
I hope our interpretation is correct and Jin does not need to enlist till Dec next year before he turns 31.

Whoever facepalmed you doesn't quite understand how the military works. You want to be in that bitch as young as possible. They're already pushing it having guys go in at their 30s. And that doesn't include HYBE's side of things.
They're essentially gambling away their own money, and more importantly, the money of the BTS members. If they were smart, send 'em all at once, get it over with. And I haven't even brought up potential war scenarios with other countries. Might as well serve while under "peacetime".

It's easy to say that but we have to consider the members wants. I'm sure they've thought about it already. And some might probably agreed on the idea of enlisting together then cb as ot7, but some might want to pursue solo works for a while and just relax esp the maknae line. They've been consistently promoting and working together as a group. They are bound to be burnout and overworked with their schedule & activities. They have made more money than they can spend for the rest of their lives, so now they have the privilege to just chill and work within their pace.

I mean his last date for enlistment might be Dec 4th next year, so he may have another full year if we go by precedent wherein you have to enlist before completion of 28th years..aka 29th bday.

If the government want to exempt them, they would have done so already.
I watched a video from a Korean dude talking about the government and their struggle to pass bills regarding military service, especially mandatory service. They will first hype a new bill, but when it’s time to pass it they go silent, if asked about an update they will say that there are some bureaucratic obstacles and that they need more time and will never address it again.
But if they are going to enlist it will probably go with the same procedure as any other BG.
