  • when will people realize that case count doesn't matter. It's the number of serious/critical cases that is important. South Korea only has 284 serious cases. Who cares if 111K people come down with the sniffles or are asymptomatic.

(NOT looking to 'trash' you here somehow ; that should seem clear overall)

But , the *total* number of COVID DAILY INFECTIONS is *directly* related to the *total* number of deaths from COVID too ... So , thus , the *total* number of COVID DAILY INFECTIONS *is* an important indicator factor to monitor it.

Having said that , *AGREE* with you COMPLETELY , that what matters MOST , is how many actually DIE from COVID on a given day ... Of course , THAT is *directly* related to your COVID VACCINATION percentage of your general population ... COVID VACCINATION *generally* means MUCH LESS LIKELY to DIE from COVID infection.

Finally , S.KOREA *VACCINATION* rates (percentage) , Face Mask wearing , and *Social Distancing* behavior in general , is *far superior* to say the USA and *many* other nations ... As to HOW that might relate to K-pop Music Activity , Live or Studio , with FANS being present , say in Fall-Winter of Year 2022 , NOT SURE here.

PFIZER and MODERNA are due to release a *customized* booster VACCINE for BA.5 Variant (currently the COVID 'big monster' active) in say November 2022 ... It is 'on order' (PAID) by USA Government , so *will* happen eventually ... As to IF that S.KOREA will get this BA.5 VACCINE soon , NO IDEA here ... But S.KOREA has been fairly clever at getting COVID VACCINE from USA firms in the recent past.

0ppar <-- Please 'ease off' on the 'rotund' chatter ... :suure:

    Enough said.

  • What's more of a factor than vaccination rate is South Korea's obesity rate (4% of adults). It's evident that the countries hit the hardest also have some of the highest obesity rates in the world (like the US where over 36% of adults are obese)
