true but the thing is for most chinese idols they know where ultimately their "iron rice bowl" is and it's not SK but rather that debuting in a SK idol group is a stepping stone to skills, knowledge and fame which one can harness and use to return back to their home country...

Makes you wonder about MHJ and staying at SM despite admitting she was very burnt out in those last years - maybe she was biding her time until an offer like HYBE came up so she would** be a little protected from potential blacklisting
