Why don't many like akp?

  • reddit and other sites often don't want to link akp articles :eyes: what's up with that?

  • Moderator

    Approved the thread.
  • Kpop fans all have their superiority complexes.

  • fanwars extends to kpop sites as well

  • The main news site is pretty terrible. The writers have obvious biases, they ignore news that doesn't fit their narrative (eg they completely ignored any news about New Jeans hitting a 1st day sales record and 100m), the stories are poorly written, poorly researched, never link back to original sources (which often contradict them) and full of errors (or spoilers when they report on TV shows*).

And the comments are TOXIC. They are poorly moderated and full of some of the nastiest, grossest trolls this side of 4chan. Yeah worse than reddit.

The forums are much, much, much more chill and nice.

*Eg in an Article about Snowdrop (I think), which I think talked about the ratings or an instagram post or whatever, the writer literally spoiled the end of the show and the fate of the main characters.

  • redditors are absolute nolifers who think they are the best of the internet

    leave them be

  • News site has poorly written articles about stupid things such as streams (meanwhile real achievements are overlooked and some news are never written because it is better to kiss the ass of the biggest fandoms than to reflect how far idols can go in their careers), lots of faulty articles that could have been better if the writers were true to kpop and not to the clicks they will get for dropping names and the list goes on.

And the forums are toxic, they have always been.
