According to the same youtube charts, IVE only had 8M real views in the first week, 6M in the second and 5M in the third week.

On the topic: the differences between the current 4th gen top groups is still not that big, so all bets are still off.

At the moment though, IVE and Aespa have the best cards of 4th gen groups, both rank high in popularity, IVE so far have 2 out 2 chart toppers on Korean charts, while Aespa have unprecedented sales.

ITZY seems to be on a decline when it comes to charting, while other groups like STAYC, Le Sserafim and NMIXX are either inconsistent or still need to prove themselves.

IVE has better streams, more wins, same level of sales with less months of hiatus, 2 big hits unlike Aespa who only has NL, the it girl, cfs, youtube is the one lacking but views are in a downhill and Eleven has 50m less than Savage despite coming 2 months after and being posted in starship channel unlike aespa in SM channel

Aespa also have more monthly followers, 2.2M vs IVE's 800k, which is a metric also often used in Spotify ranking.

But true, IVE's title tracks (not their b sides which are below 10M) perform slightly better than Aespa's.

If I had to rank them it'd go something like this comparing the latest title tracks:

BP >>>>> IVE > Aespa > ITZY > TWICE

? Proof? Last time I recall IVE's peak was more around 6.5-7M in MLs.

It's also not only behind BP and TWICE, Red Velvet peaked at 8.2M in MLs.

aespa is not covering all areas right now. they are still even lower internationally than other 4th gen groups. ive is their competition right now. yg is yet to debut their gg and their gg's has always been one of best in their generations so i'm pretty sure ygngg can put up a fight too.
