I feel like Jennie wants to go solo

She talked a lot about her solo during her RS interview, more than any group activities. It's obvious she wants another one. There's nothing wrong with that, it was just interesting bc based on how things are supposed to go her solo should be in the very distant future after bp comeback, world tour, and jisoo's solo

Jennie also rarely seems to hang out with anyone in BP outside of work, taking social media and the stuff they post on weverse as a representation. Her distance with Lisa has been obvious for a while, but while that can be chalked up to delusional shippers, her and Jisoo also don't seem as close as they used to be. it's funny because when they first debuted jensoo was the main ship and people used to say rosé wasn't close with unnie line but now she and jisoo seem to be together all the time, same with lisa, and jennie seems like the odd one out.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if come 2023, not every signs on but jennie does and officially goes full solo

we shouldn't take social media as a way to determine their closeness. Keep in mind, we don't know what happens behinds doors. Jennie is a very private person contrary people's beliefs and Jisoo to some extent just because she hangs out with Lisa and Rosé a bit more lately doesn't mean she isn't hanging out with Jennie. Didn't she say that Jennie sometimes leave stuff at her house on weverse? Jisoo's best friend is close to Jennie and Jisoo went to support Jennie's best friend brand at a pop up event recently.

tbh youre kinda right, i sometimes see jisoo, rose and lisa hanging out together but never jennie.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wouldn't continue as four when their contract expires.

I just don't see the same passion equally in all the members for music or for their group activities.

It feels like some are far more interested in just being celebrities and influencers, and in fashion, not music.

Then again, if so, their current status of long hiatuses with only a comeback once every 2 years fit such a lifestyle perfectly: little actual work for lots of gain.

Are they topping hot 100? They cannot even crack top 10 with the help of it pop girls. Imagine having collabs with Dua lipa, Gaga, Selena gomez, Ariana clout through songwriting, Cardi the biggest female rapper and still not being able to top hot 100.

Im sure they all wouldn't mind just doing their own thing. They're on my ever close on camera, they don't seem like they really care for each other

How many top 3rd gen groups need to renew for you all to get the picture?

Jennie already spends 90% of her time as an influencer instead of an idol. There’s no reason not to keep the group around as backup.

it's beyond me how some individuals base people's friendship on social media when I was active on instagram I tagged and left comments on people that I didn't get to meet all the time, while I didn't comment that much on my close friends since I happen to see them every day. See, this is why I don't think we should speculate we don't know.
