international kpop fans already chose stray kids as their favorite noisy group,
This is more complicated imho than ifans just choosing a favourite.
First of all I have to say that I despise the term "noise" because it removes all nuance and equates any two songs as long as they meet a few of very broad and vague, undefined criteria. (Such as "hard hitting" or "edm drop" or just rap in general)
The thing is, Stray Kids just do it miles better than the rest, and the rest aren't doing things well enough. They manage to reinvent themselves and bring something new to the table every comeback, not just on title tracks but also on bsides, while retaining a signature sound that belongs only to them and fits them like a glove, and stick to a creative vision over chasing trends. Why? Because 3RACHA are their main producers, and they're actually passionate and have a vision. Whether or not SKZ's music is your cup of tea, you can't deny they're a powerhouse.
What I'm saying is not that all groups need to be self producing to have good music. It's enough if they have creative and passionate people behind them.
But 4th gen just...churns out groups. Demand for kpop is higher than ever, and there are countless groups but as always only a few can be in the center of attention. Thus many companies simply decide to play safe and go with whatever they consider trendy or something that's undeniably a trend (like retro and pop punk). Currently there are no longer any "hot" trends, really...
Or they just try to copy other groups. Some fans may be in denial, but it's an open secret that companies often ask producers to try to make songs like other songs. Frequent targets are for example NCT and Stray Kids (recently a kpop producer confirmed this, that multiple companies have asked him to make skz-like songs). These mentalities can and very often result in music that bland, awkward, and doesn't fit the group.
