Why have Twice not managed to beat ICSM's biggest Spotify day yet?

ICSM peaked at 1.5m filtered streams in a day and Twice haven't beaten that in nearly two years, even with The Feels getting a lot more playlisting than it did which got monthly listeners above 10m.

With Stray Kids Maniac hitting 1.9m filtered streams in a day recently (and above that being BTS/BP), what's stopping Twice getting to that next level? The international market for kpop has grown a lot in the last two years.

Their highest streaming day on the US Spotify Charts is Feel Special from nearly 3 years ago! They have a bigger fanbase there now but not as many people are tuning into their music? Their Spotify numbers make for odd reading when you put it against the kpop growth globally and them being the 3rd biggest group

Nayeon with more songs than TXT and the same amount as Stray Kids yet still millions off, and that's with her most streamed b-side being a collab with a Stray Kids member. I wonder what Twice end up with.

Don't disagree but it's surprising that their reach hasn't increased by now in terms of getting more people tuning into their music.

Before it used to be just BP and BTS above them but more groups will start doing as they've been stagnant in this regard.

Their peak numbers haven't changed in nearly two years and all hover around the same area since, the fact that the US is near 3 years is even more surprising. For all the talk about 4th gen gg's being stagnant on Spotify Twice without The Feels which had playlisting aren't that different, and they are at the forefront of the genre.
