What is your ideal way to manage a group's solo and group activities?

With so much discussion about how companies have fumbled the bag when managing a group's solo activities, whether it be favourtism, starting out too late, too much or too far and few in between - What is your ideal way or proper way you think a company should begin an idol's solo activites?

I like the way how Mamamoo does it, or how SM did it with groups like SNSD, Super Junior and Red Velvet: start it up early inbetween group comebacks, and let members diversify into all kinda fields like MC host, radio host, acting, variety shows, musicals, musical collabs, OSTs, sub-units, solo debuts etc.

Seems the most balanced to me, with a good balance between group career and individual careers.
