  • I agree!

Reading all these comments by delusional fans calling these groups AMAZING VOCALISTS is the least hilariousi must say

  • The youtuber seems to confuse live singing and vocal technique ?(

  • Didn't watch the video. Critics, reactors, etc. None of their opinions impact the choices I make, in anything.

  • Wow i had no idea leserfim was that bad, hybe groups will be known for their bad vocals in no time instead of whatever skills they have if they keep it this way. Also makes no sense to put stayc instead of itzy, just replace them and it'd be accurate.

  • as ever, people on youtube proclaiming they're experts and not knowing what they're saying.

this youtuber is talking about mostly encore stages, and ignores the actual skill and potential of the groups.

Le Serrafim have Yunjin and Chaewon who are both skilled singers and Yunjin is certainly way ahead of a lot of 4th gen main vocalists, struggling with an encore doesn't magically erase that.

  • Enhypen? First group I’ve seen where not a single member has a powerful voice…

  • I know the two vocalists in lesserafim are good so that might have been bad day plus there was no stage prep.

but I just want to understand one thing. why is it that their live stage with dancing on the same day sound 10 times better and more stable? i am not exaggerating. they sound like they are different people when they sing while standing still in encore. I know these groups sing live when they dance most of the time because it sounds real if you focus on every second they move and breathe compared to some sm groups that are obvious lip syncers. but then sm groups that never sing live on stage while dancing sound good in encores. it just make no sense to me.

Two possible reason I could think of:

    1. What you hear is not technically live well it can be live but most of the time it is something like a compilation of the best takes. Groups actually perform a stage many times then music shows will edit that and just release the best version. So maybe they're singing well while dancing because even if they do a mistake they can just released the best take while in encore if they make a mistake, that's it.

    2. I remember NMIXX saying it's easy for them to sing while dancing than just standing. I don't know the reason behind this but I guess it's true for some performers. Maybe adrenaline lol

  • I don't know if they're the worst but they aren't great vocal groups. All three GGs are average. StayC is definitely overrated vocally. It's probably true they get praised for their vocals because nothing else stands out about them and they sing live.

  • it's a shame though. Hybe have enough resources to attract real talent while being able to easily afford good vocal coaches to help them sharpen their skills

Why waste time and money when skills don't matter in K-Pop? Fandoms and GP aren't really hung up on skills. Hybe knew what they were doing when they signed Sakura and Chaewon. They pursued them because of their popularity. That popularity wasn't gained they had great talent and skills.
