Why BLACKPINK outlasted 2NE1?

According to every bitter blackjack, kpop troll and BLACKPINK anti, yg only created BP as a temporary replacement and they will have the same fate as 2ne1, yet BLACKPINK is into their 6th year and is about have a comeback, while 2NE1 ended up their activities in their 5th year

2ne1 had more scandals and wanted to go solo I guess. It explains why yg restrict bp a lot in comparison, they didn't want a repeat

I think Bom’s scandal? Idk, 2ne1 had more potential to last longer.

Because they’re pretty and YG can utilise that better instead of shitting on them in public like he did with 2NE1.

No one has ever said they were a "temporary replacement". They were a replacement for them period.

Yeah Blackpink is having their sixth year, but their activities and discography is thinner than a 2nd year group.

But if Blinks are satisfied with all the modelling stuff they do, then whatever works for their fans I guess.

these are the 3 factors as to why they disbanded with additional misogyny from yg and wanting to replace them with 3rd gen groups thinking ikon winner will be more profitable. Bp was debuted because they needed a token gg from the company but they weren't the priority unlike the bgs. But karma happened for doing that to 2ne1 and mismanaging bp too since debut.

Really there’s no need to compare, at the end of the day they both were/are treated like shit especially compared to the bgs

Like it or not Visual are important. We all know sometimes a visual is more popular than a talented one. But i really think BP is talent too. So with both -talent and visual- they were able to be supported longer by fans.

At the end 2ne1 has a lot of fans gone and hate, while BP also has hate, is because of antis, this does not translate like a bad thing on public rep. eye . And BP still make waves bigger than when they started.
