  • Armys calling out new groups and fans for not respecting what Bts did. Do they have a point?

  • First of all, armys are kpop fan. If you're an army and afraid to call yourself a kpop fan, you're a xenophobe.

  • Just admit BTS paved the way for kpop in the West then

Just because they like BTS doesn't mean they are into kpop as a whole, so no they are not necessarily kpop fans.

  • I think they're just being extremely immature/salty for absolutely no reason because they are hating on these harmless groups that did not throw a speck of shade in bts' direction.

    But what's new with armys.

  • I thought BTS was bigger than Kpop? But Army spends so much time worrying about Kpop and what Kpop fans think?

It depends on whether that narrative suits army in any argument. Sometimes they are kpop, sometimes they're bigger than kpop.

  • my grandpa was a construction worker, he paved the way, and BTS used the road. so in essence, my grandpa > BTS. yall forgetting the spoon that fed your oppas, smh.

my grandpa was the moment, now he retired.

  • This is so childish and untrue. I would agree BTS paved the way in some ways.

Speaking at the un is understandable.

But using the word new chapter or speaking about a second chapter after the military service is kinda... far fetched. Besides Seungyoon had already spoke first about Winner having a new chapter after serving in the military, years ago, so if anything BTS are the one who copied. But it's just words that aren't even original or unique...

    Anyway Armys are weird.

  • about winner they definitely don't, winner talked about starting a new chapter in 2020
