In Jisoo we trust

  • People are losing faith and patience. YGE needs to release a comeback schedule calendar like Itzy did...even if the comeback is months out. I don't mind following along the progress of the last of the vocal recordings, the choreography acceptance and practice, the concept discussion and approval, the hiring of the MV team, the set construction, the costume selection, the filming.....

At this point, "surprise," "mystery," "YG secrecy" are counterproductive.

No it'll kinda lose hype if it's announced months before release. I like that they are choosing short period of time for teasers

I feel like you both raise good points. On one hand, we've waited long enough and we want more stuff NOW! Seeing the process of making the comeback would be cool too. On the other hand, good things come to those who wait, and patience is a virtue. There is also a very real fear of them losing hype if it's too far in the future.

Based on this, I think it's best if the comeback stuff is announced formally a medium amount of time away from the comeback, to get the best of both worlds. Not so far out that it loses most of its initial hype, but enough for the news to fully sink in and feel "real" a few days before they come back. After how long we waited, it will probably feel way too surreal for a moment, so I think we should have a couple days for the news to sink in at first. Besides, I feel like giving it more time (but not too much) will help it feel less like a traditional comeback, and more like an event, because let's be honest: that's what it is. Not just for Blinks, but for everyone.

You both did a wonderful job showing the pros and cons of waiting too long or not long enough, but I think a sweet spot in the middle would be best if that makes sense. Also, I think a comeback schedule calendar is a great idea and I always loved when those are released, but not all comeback calendars have to be a full month (not that you implied that in any way, just wanted to make sure to explain it so it was clear to everyone). It could be any period of time that they choose to announce within it (two weeks, three weeks or something like that).
