This narrative is heavily exaggerated, I fear. Most of the loudest users act the same way they do regardless of where they post. If they see their favorites being mentioned, they'll definitely get involved. It doesn't matter where. They really don't care.

I keep seeing you guys say "people pretending to be nice on main," but which users are you referring to? Or maybe this is just projection about how you yourself use Anons?

There are also many Anons users who never or rarely say anything on main because they don't care for having a profile or reputation here.

Leave the nice users alone and don't make false assumptions about them. It's not like you guys ever interact with them or appreciate them enough anyway. You'd rather spend your time arguing with the toxic ones.
