The difference between Aespa and Blackpink
It's obvious to anyone by now SM is trying so hard to make Aespa the new blackpink, but no matter how hard SM tries to force it, you can feel the difference in popularity between them.

OP
Blackpink is the top girlgroup, no question. Aespa is the top 4th gen gg group, no question.
I would say a big issue is that Blackpink simply hasn't come back in such a long time, making it difficult to compare numbers . SM is pushing Aespa and it's a good thing in my books. Why? I like to see a company doing what it can to support talented girls.
I honestly wish Blackpink would get more promotions as well. Regardless, I don't see a reason to make posts comparing two groups. Aespa will grow with SM pushing them properly. I just hope YG will let Blackpink come back. Still, Blackpink is doing amazing even with no music so when they do have a comeback it is bound to be big IMO.
