The contrast between the reactions to aespa at coachella and txt at lollapalooza

    Is so upsetting and eye opening.

    I don't want txt to get dragged and hated like aespa, in the contrary I wish aespa got the same reaction as txt now aka either celebration or ignoring. This huge contrast shows how girls will always get more scrutiny and hate, and at the same time it shows that girl group fans are indeed more vicious toward other girl groups than boy group fans are toward other boy groups. You don't see fans of txt rivals breaking a sweat over this, but for aespa it was war for days and the hate reached the girls and they had to speak up about it. Why can't we all do better? Was it really worth it? Harassing these girls over a freaking festival?

    Probably cause TXT were the actual first one to go into Lolla, and didn't mediaplayed shit to ride someone's else cottail

    It's also interesting because TXT aren't very good performers either, far from the best among 4th gen bgs. Yet they don't receive half the criticism Aespa do.

    It was mostly BP fandom and bitter gg stans who dragged aespa, many fandoms supported aespa.

    SM did major mediaplay that turned YG stans against Aespa but it ended up creating more hype for Aespa in the end so they were actually smarter than Hybe at pr.

    That's because Aespa have way, way more haters than TXT, people just being jealous, toxic and petty. You can already see it here, where the Aespa bashing and set up threads far, far exceed those of any other group's.


    Girl groups have generally always gotten more hate than boy groups, and especially SM groups attract a lot of haters.

    It's not for nothing that SNSD were the first and only group that got multiple black oceans, fully or partially successful, and oh irony, those were arranged mostly by boy group female fans.

    Or that Sulli had to leave f(x) after her relationship became public, and that she was harassed and shaded agressively and excessively, way above average and above common sense, for years for every little thing she did or said.

    I thought you were blaming kpop fans for this but I'm glad you acknowledged that the hate was indeed coming from other gg fans.
