Why doesn’t itzy appeal to China or Japan?

Compared to other 4th gen and even their own label mates they have a massive lack of support from both China and Japan but why?

They are doing alright in Japan. For China Inhabe no idea. Ever since the thing with Tzuyu happen I haven't seen much love for JYP artists (with th4 exception of Jackson of course) in China. Of course, even before that, I can't recall if JYP ever had any major success in China. That is a question for 2nd and 1st gen fans to answer.

Anyone that knows Kpop from the beginning knows jyp has a very poor standing in China even with all of suzy popularity in Korea, she was less popular than Krystal in China, I don’t even want to include yoona and Irene . It was never a worry but because jyp groups are doing poorly in Korea, people seem to worry about it. Jyp market has always been Korea and Japan : China was never there or seen there + the tzuyu fiasco just worsened their outlook. Itzy is doing great in Japan so I’m confused where this is coming from, I know a lot of teenage girls in Japan like itzy a lot and their sales are decent there. Also people in sea and US like them too looking at stats so they just need a good song believe me if they have a song that becomes viral the Chinese people will flock to them because they are all success stans. The reason why Aespa is bigger in China than Red velvet is because their group is more popular in Korea and is called a one top
