The man himself Lee Soo Man told from press conferences in Vietnam and Indonesia that he planned to expand the NCT system to Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, South America, Japan and China back in 2017. Only WayV became a reality. It's been 5 years ago and last year SM plans to debut NCT Hollywood. Does this mean they cancelled the other NCT units quietly?
What happened to SM plan for other global NCT units?

Yeah i think NCT is here to stay for years and plans that we thought would follow normal kpop generations are gonna be spaced out over decades.
I used to be annoyed SM seemed to be slow-walking their expansion, but JPN and Hollywood talks seem to mean it’s starting.
This thread would be A LOT different if you posted it a week earlier and we didn’t just get news that two units are preparing to debut (or atleast confirmed).
edit: also we have to remember SM is spending a lot on Aespa, and probably a nNG as well, so it’s more likely more expansion is gonna be slow-walked.
