I've always seen a lot of ot3, ot2, or just ot1 blinks but it kinda made sense to me just because lack of content and the girls making a name for themselves individually and just because the girls are so different from each other so someone who likes a girl crush style like jennie might hate a cute elegant style like jisoo and seeing one member get something like a solo or drama or something while the member they like gets nothing might make immature fans mad and theyll just hate a certain member.
But now I'm seeing a lot of other groups get it too. Ive seen a lot of ot6 engenes. A lot of mys dont want giselle in the group. I've seen a bunch of midzys who dont want chaeryong/lia in the group. I think nct just has a lot of solo stans in general and there's obviously the very big no garam movement in lsf fandom but that one kinda makes sense.
I know that fandoms dont consider these people real fans and while I would agree with them, my question is what is the cause of this. I get blackpink's as explained but most of these other groups have consistent content and none of the members are being pushed more than others. I get not liking a member but going as far as to create accounts to photoshop the member out, hoping the member leaves and stuff is kinda too far.
If you are someone who does this, can you just explain why? I'm genuinely curious.
