honestly don't get me wrong, I do believe the girls definitely want to cb more and perform and they used to definitely express their frustration before and used to apologise to blinks because they had no clue but now they have accepted their fate and adjusted to it plus they are the bgg by barely doing anything compared to other groups and earn the most out of any other active kpop groups minus bts, by just being a commercial model. Plus even if they renew with better terms, seeing how yg still manages their artists even after renewal, yeah we will be lucky if we actually get a cb in 2-3 years maybe.

Tldr: bp will renew because money trumps over everything.

watch Jennie and Rosé release back to back eps in 2024 and Lisa doing international collabs while Jisoo filming movies before having a full album in 2025 after renewing

They stuck out 3-6 years under stress as trainees, and we think all that motivation and ambition just evaporated? No, I think they want to achieve things still.

I also think Blinks are taking the Rolling Stone interviews as the literal truth. Blackpink are still under YG, they are not going to say "Our company sucks and we can't wait to leave." We don't know what they're thinking.

I'm not even sure they'd stay together because of their friendship. They don't live together, and they promote separately most of the time, they can't possibly have a co-dependence on each other anymore.

Why wouldn't they renew. They're all making huge amounts of money with minimal effort. They are living their lives, traveling the world and enjoying themselves. The girls have made enough money and connections to be fine for the rest of their lives.

These so called blinks, always complaining about mistreatment and all the other bullshit they come up with maybe need to stan another group, or get a life outside of kpop, or maybe grow the hell up. Crying about this and that every other day isn't going to do shit. All this just makes you look pathetic, a laughing stock, a joke and pretty deluded.

I watched the show and most of the hylt stages, Lisa was the only one who didn't look like she would rather be somewhere else. The other members look like they were just going through the motions, especially Jennie and Jisoo.

I can't find the quote but Winner recently let fans know that they were ready to move forward with their next album but that YG was doing nothing. I think - don't quote me though - they literally said "We can't do anything about it".

Blackpink are in the worst situation because even though they were trained for 5 years in songwriting, Teddy has control over their output. They seem fond of him, but there is no way that man is going to step aside from his biggest income stream and let Blackpink write/produce on their own.
