JYP should debut new gg then will be third one after ITZY (4th gen), and NMIXX (4th gen). Easy peasy will be marketed as 5th gen. I won't be even surprised if MNet do some survival year earlier just to make that group first 5th gen lol

Maybe, all depends on what people will call 5th gen in hindsight.
What is and is not 4th gen only was determined in hindsight as well.
Back in 2018/2019, people were still discussing if Stray Kids, the Boyz etc were 3rd gen, but now we generally agree they are 4th gen.
